We believe that your health encompasses every part of your life so we have partnered with other disciplines to facilitate programs in the community with health and wellness in mind. 

All programs are held in our health centre unless otherwise specified.

Registration is now open for fall sessions.

There will be four sessions running for 3 weeks each on Monday evenings from 6:00-7:00 pm:

December 2, 9, 16th

For ages 18+

No singing experience required!

S.c. Walking Club

Join us every Sunday afternoon at Purohit Nurse Practitioner Clinic at 1:30 pm for a 30 minute group walk in South St. Vital.

Bring your mat and join Alan for floor mat pilates to improve your flexibility and strength. All levels are welcome.

Classes start in September every Wednesday evening from 6-7pm. (September 4, 11, 18, 25)

Cost: $100 / month

Why knitting?

Knitting has been shown to:

-reduce loneliness and isolation

Bring your own knitting supplies to this FREE knitting group for all ages.

We meet every Sunday afternoon from 2:00-3:00pm at Purohit Nurse Practitioner Clinic.



Mindfulness series: focus on gratitude

The practice of mindfulness focuses on paying attention to the present moment with intention, while letting go of judgement. There are many benefits to practicing mindfulness including stress reduction and improved sleep.

Join our counselor, Nikki Humenchuk, for a 4 week series of mindfulness classes at our health centre.

Classes are from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Sundays (Oct 27, Nov 3, Nov 10, and Nov 17)

All ages 10+ welcome.

Cost: $50 per person (or $40 if 2 or more from the same household)

Anxious feelings are normal and expected in children at the start of a new school year. As we find ourselves back into routine, bedtimes and after school activities children can become overwhelmed. During this special 1 hour interactive workshop we explore, encourage and give tools to help us transition from Summer to Fall:

-Learn grounding yoga poses to use on your own or with a friend

-Calming breathing games to release anxiety

-Create a special take home craft using mindfulness

**This class is postponed to a date TBA in October

cost: $15 per child (crafting supplies included)
